Through design we improve the world around us.
Always drawing and creating, I began my life as a designer at a young age; but it wasn’t until I was able to hone my skills while obtaining my masters degree from the University of South Florida’s School of Architecture and Community Design that I was able to truly develop my talent. There I was able to develop my philosophy that designing space is not about ego, or form, but about the community that inhabits it and how that community is intertwined with the lattice of communities that make up our civilization. This idea came to its ultimate fruition and manifestation in my thesis project.
After receiving my masters degree, I further developed my skillset working in several Architecture firms. In these firms, I gained an understanding of how the profession functions in reality beyond the idealized workplaces one often dreams of in school.
I then took a position with Chaos Group as a 3D artist and Revit Specialist where I further honed my architectural visualization skillset. I not only have been able to bring my visualization ability to the next level, but I have been able to push BIM software to its limits to achieve professional-quality renderings. I also had the privilege to help develop the user experience/user interface for V-Ray for SketchUp, Rhino, and Revit, which proved to be a challenging yet rewarding and educational endeavor.
While architecture, community design, and architectural visualization have been and always will be my primary passion, I also enjoy other forms of design including transportation and graphic design. This portfolio contains a selection of my work in these realms as well.
I am always excited to take on new challenges, whether they are a small visualization project such as producing renderings for a client, or the design of an entire community. My hope is that you, the viewer, have enjoyed browsing through this portfolio, and feel free to contact me with any comments or opportunities!
